Owner and head groomer Grace Petrone has been grooming since 2000. Being a natural born animal lover, Grace originally completed a short course in dog grooming to help her better care for her own dog in 1999. She loved it immediately... and realised she wanted to take it further and pursue grooming as a career. She attended the WA Dog Grooming & Clipping Academy in 2000, and then continued to work for the owner operator, Kim. Grace also began to work for herself and servicing vet clinics in and around Fremantle. After moving to Brisbane, she worked for various salons and vet clinics before establishing The Dog Den in 2005. The business has grown and flourished at an extremely fast pace since then, establishing itself as a professional, cutting edge salon which cares for hundreds of satisfied customers with wagging tails and happy owners! Grace would have her days no other way - caring for and pampering her four legged friends, making them look and smell beautiful - as well as tending to her own menagerie!
The salon continues to grow and develop, using the latest technology and equipment, soap-free & hypo-allergenic products, fresh warm water for each client, and its staff are highly trained, experienced animal lovers who attend regular industry seminars, conferences and training. Their knowledge extends to many areas of dog health, including nutrition, skin and ear problems and more. Your pet's health, safety and comfort is always priority at The Dog Den. |
