Born animal lover, Grace Stewart was completing the final year of a university degree when she completed a short course in animal grooming on the side, simply in order to be able to better care for her own dog in. She fell in love with it immediately and after finishing her studies, decided to take it further and pursue grooming as a career. After attending the WA Dog Grooming & Clipping Academy and completing further training in pet grooming, she officially began her career as a groomer in 2000. She worked as a Pet Stylist in vet clinics, grooming salons and also servicing mobile clients in and around Fremantle before moving to Brisbane and eventually establishing and opening the doors to The Dog Den in 2005.
Since then, the salon has grown and flourished at an extremely fast pace, establishing itself as a professional salon which cares for hundreds of satisfied customers with wagging tails and happy owners! The salon now employs several groomers and support staff and the team at The Dog Den would have their days no other way - caring for and pampering their four legged friends, taking care of their every grooming need.
The salon continues to grow and develop. It prides itself on using only the best products, offering a personalised servivce and having a team of animal lovers who always strive for the best and treat each animal as their own. Their knowledge extends to many areas of dog health and they're keen to offer help and support where possible. Your pet's health, safety and comfort is always priority at The Dog Den.
